Inside High Point: How the Cove Lounge Chair Reimagines Poolside & Patio Relaxation

For generations, High Point, North Carolina has stood as the upholstery capital of American furniture making. When we set out to offer a modern poolside and terrace lounge chair that required zero assembly, zero rigid hardware, and zero compromise on tailoring, we partnered directly with our High Point studio to bring Cove Outdoor Living to Made 4 Outdoor.

1. Structured Ergonomics—Without a Rigid Frame

Unlike unstructured beanbags that flatten out after a single afternoon, the Cove Lounge Chair (29" W × 38.5" D × 28" H, with a comfortable 17" seat height) is engineered around a baffled, water-resistant inner ticking filled with a calibrated blend of high-resiliency shredded foam and polyfiber. The internal baffle geometry supports upright reading or reclined conversation while weighing just 15 lbs—making it effortless to move from a covered loggia to the sun deck via its integrated side carry handles.

2. Six Curated Sunbrella® Colorways

Every Cove chair and ottoman is tailored with contrast welt piping and a heavy-duty marine-grade woven polypropylene base in six 100% solution-dyed Sunbrella® fabrics:

• Core Classics: Cashmere (warm alabaster neutral), Charcoal (architectural slate), and Willa Frond (deep botanical green).
• Textured Bouclé & Resort Stripe: Nurture Pebble, Nurture White, and Dobby Stripe (coastal blue-and-white resort stripe).

3. From Solo Lounger to Complete Patio Bundles
